A coalition of Atlanta clergy and civil rights leaders is threatening to boycott broadcast stations airing a controversial Rick Jackson campaign ad. MORE BELOW⬇️

Apostle Darryl L. Winston reflects on the loss of Secoriea Turner, who is being used in campaign advertising for Rick Jackson, and demands that Rick Jackson takes down his campaign ad featuring the screams of Secoriea Turner. Secoriea Turner was an 8 year old girl who was murdered outside of a Wendy's on July, 4th, 2020, in Atlanta. The Turner family has launched a lawsuit against the City of Atlanta back on June 7th, 2021, for failing to ensure the protection of public safety, with the case still ongoing to this day.

Rick Jackson (R), who is running for governor of Georgia, has since used the incident as a campaign ad against Keisha Lance Bottoms (D). It started when the Turner family received mail from the Rick Jackson campaign, with their daughter, Secoriea Turner's face, right on the card.

Then, the Rick Jackson campaign went a step further. They made an ad out of the incident. In the ad, you can hear the screams of Secoriea Turner in the backseat of the car, as she was bleeding out.

The Turner family immediately reached out to the Rick Jackson campaign, demanding that the campaign ads taking advantage of what happened to their daughter, Secoriea Turner, gets taken down, calling the ads "pure evil". Rick Jackson has not responded, nor has the campaign ads been taken down.

The Turner family's attorney states "Political violence cannot be condemned selectively, and a grieving family's pain must not become an instrument of that selective outrage."
