Worship begins tomorrow at 10:30 AM. Our worship includes a special blessing for fathers. Our faithul, sparrow-tending God meets us.
Tomorrow's gospel inspires this comment: Recognizing God’s awesome transcendence brings a reevaluation of other values. The God of vertigo-inspiring infinitude is also the God who know the hairs of our head. Trusting this God, fear is defanged and faith becomes a sort of courage. We live in faithful relationship to the hair-counting God as we joyfully “acknowledge” the one who acknowledges us. (From Sundays and Seasons)

We gather for worship at 10:30 AM.

Weekends are busy in the summer. Plan ahead for connecting to communities of faith wherever you might travel. Please stay connected with the St. Paul community via the stream, consider Facebook posts, and take time to read your email and bulletin announcements. Summer is an awesome time for growth in faith. July thru September Word in Season is available now. Prayer requests can also be shared midweek at this email address. Lastly, remember there's nothing better than joining the Sunday morning gathering.

In tomorrow’s gospel reading, Jesus speaks of the church’s mission with the image of the harvest. Seeing the harassed and helpless, it is clear the harvest is already plentiful. Laborers are needed for work in the fields of daily life. What are we to do? We are to do that to which our worship invites us: Let our conversation be shaped by the good news, extend Christ’s peace wherever we find ourselves, and offer an honored place to the harassed and helpless of our community.
