Dr. Crider will always be loved and remembered for his service at Oakhurst! He and Dollie were such a great couple serving and loving others together. Remember Dollie and the family in your prayers! Richard is enjoying his new life worshipping the ONE he spent his life here telling us about and got to hear those precious words “Well done thou good and faithful servant”.

How does a person become part of God’s forever family?
There is only one way.
By receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior is how a person is spiritually born into the family of God.
Jesus came to seek and save those who are spiritually lost. He loves us and gave His life for us.
Jesus paid the price for our sins and invites us to become part of His family.
Trust Jesus today and let the Lord forgive your sins and make you new.

Psalm 100:2 says, “Serve the Lord with gladness.”
Loving the Lord and following His will should always be done joyfully.
What a privilege to be loved by God and allowed to be a part of His work!
I Thessalonians 5:16 says, “Rejoice always!”
Serving the Lord should be done joyfully and motivated by a deep love for Jesus.
Not everything is “easy” and “fun,” but the Lord allows us to be involve in carrying out His ministry.
I challenge all of us to love fully and serve joyfully.
It will change our attitudes and our outlook on life.
God is good and He has chosen you and me!
Let me encourage you to gather with other believers and worship the Lord this Sunday.

Jesus is the Light of the World. He brightens our day, directs our steps, and allows us to avoid the hurdles.
Since Jesus lives in us (as Christians), we are the lights in the world.
Jesus said, Let you light so shine before men that they can see your good works and glorify the Father in heaven.”
Let’s shine and brighten our world! By doing so, we glorify God and let others see what our amazing God can do.

There is a powerful verse in the Bible found in James 1:22 which says, “But be doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
Everyone who has a saving relationship with Jesus Christ is a person who has repented of their sins and have trusted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives.
Knowing Jesus is life-giving and life-changing.
We have Christ living in us in the person of the Holy Spirit.
We love Jesus and desire to live according to the truth of His Word.
We are not perfect but we have a heart that genuinely desires to be DOERS of His Word.
May God help us to show the world that Jesus loves, saves, keeps, and changes us.
