Ever notice how the songs stuck in your head often say something true about faith, even if that's not what they were written for? We're spending the next few weeks looking at modern songs and finding Jesus in the middle of them. It's not what you'd expect from church on Sunday. Come see what we mean.

Sundays at 9:00am & 10:30am

We talk a lot about loving better. Working harder at relationships. Being more generous. Showing up differently. But what if the problem isn't that you're not trying hard enough? What if you're trying to pour from an empty cup?

The Bible says it this way: 'let us love one another' because God loved us first. That's not a guilt trip. It's permission. You can't manufacture love you don't actually feel. But when you receive God's love, not earn it, receive it, something shifts. Suddenly there's something to give.

When you know you're deeply loved by God, you stop trying to earn love or demand respect from others.

You become free to show up as yourself—fully vulnerable, fully generous. That's the life Jesus offers.

The exhausting part isn't the performing. It's wondering if it's ever enough.

What would change this week if you actually let yourself be loved first, before you did a single thing to earn it? Sit with that today, before the Lord.

Trying harder won't get you a better life. Neither will endless amounts of love, success, or money. The hole inside you is simply too big, too deep.

What you needed was someone to come for you and do for you what you never could—and Jesus did.

If you're carrying something heavy this week, or you're just looking for a space where you can be at ease and actually known, this is it. People here get it. They'll make room for you, not rush you, and they'll make space for you to encounter God's Presence.

Sundays at 9:00am & 10:30am

We talk a lot about needing Jesus and nothing else. But that's not actually true. God made you for people too.

The trap isn't wanting deep relationships. The trap is expecting one person to be what only Jesus can be. Your spouse, your kid, your best friend, they can't heal you. They can't fix you. They can love you, within human limitations. But there's a weight of love that only God was built to carry, and it is limitless.

Every human being on the planet is thirsty to be known, to be loved, to matter. That's not a flaw, it's how God wired you.

The real question is: where are going to satisfy your thirst? Spoiler alert: one person can't satisfy these needs fully. But Jesus can.

Most of us have built our sense of worth on whether people show up, whether they stay, whether they love us back. And when they don't, something in us starts to wonder if there will ever be a cure to the ache for love that we feel.

Psalm 63:3 lands differently when you're in that place. David wasn't writing from a comfortable spot. He was in the wilderness, and he still called God's love better than life itself. Not as a coping mechanism. As something he had actually tasted.

That kind of love doesn't shift when people do. It doesn't run dry when a relationship does. God's love always satisfies.

08/26/2026

You were made to be loved by God. But it turns out, you need God AND people. Not one or the other. God has wired you for both. Knowing this changes everything about how you prioritize the relationships in your life.
