The last time we posted was back in February. The reason for the hiatus is that the pastor, who uploads these posts, went on Sabbatical from March to May. Now that he's returned and settled back into using Facebook, you might see more of these in the future. The main purpose of this post is not only to say "Hello" again, but to let you all know that our morning service is returning to 11:00 am (MDT), with our Sunday school being at 9:45 am. We'd love to worship with you this Sunday, August 4th, at 11:00 am.

One of the saving blessings bequeathed to us through our union with Christ is unity with fellow believers in the household and family of God. Paul urges us to strive to protect this unity by thinking about the saving blessings we all share, putting on the virtues of unity, striving for peace, focusing on the big things we have in common, and celebrating the spiritual gifts of others. On the morning of December 24, Pastor Brad preached from Ephesians 3:20-21. We were reminded that the proper response to any act of the one, true God is worship, but since we live in a fallen world and we remain sinful, we often worship the wrong things and worship with cold hearts. The remedy for this is remembering who God is and what he has done. Paul in this passage reminds us of the Father's power, his blessings upon the church, and his gift of his Son.
