Position Overview
Holy Nativity Lutheran Church is seeking a passionate and Christ-centered Praise Team Leader to lead and develop the music ministry for our contemporary worship service. This individual will work alongside the Pastor, Worship Team, and church leadership to create a worship environment that glorifies God, proclaims Christ, and encourages active congregational participation.
The ideal candidate is a mature Christian leader with musical ability, strong organizational skills, and a heart for serving God’s people through worship.
Primary Responsibilities
* Lead music for the 10:30 AM contemporary worship service.
* Select worship songs in collaboration with the Pastor and worship planning team.
* Recruit, train, and encourage vocalists and instrumentalists.
* Schedule and lead weekly rehearsals.
* Coordinate worship service flow with the Pastor and worship team.
* Develop worship sets that align with the church calendar, sermon themes, and Lutheran theology.
* Assist with special services, including Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Pentecost, and other church events.
* Foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth among team members.
* Work with sound and livestream volunteers to ensure quality worship experiences both in-person and online.
Qualifications
* A personal faith in Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with Christian values.
* Agreement with the mission and ministry of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church.
* Experience leading worship in a church setting.
* Ability to sing and lead confidently from an instrument (guitar, keyboard, or similar).
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to organize volunteers and coordinate schedules.
* Familiarity with contemporary Christian worship music.
* Knowledge of Lutheran worship practices is preferred but not required.

Schedule
* Weekly worship service (Sunday mornings).
* Weekly rehearsal.

Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and availability.
