Today we pause to give thanks for the hardworking men and women whose dedication, skill, and service help strengthen our families, our communities, and our nation.

Whether you work with your hands, serve others, teach, build, protect, care, create, lead, or work quietly behind the scenes—your work matters.

God has given each of us gifts and opportunities to serve Him through the work we do.

📖 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
— Colossians 3:23

On this Labor Day, we pray that God blesses all workers, those enjoying a well-earned day of rest, those working today, and those currently seeking employment. May He provide strength, purpose, opportunity, and rest.

WHO’S THE GREATEST?

We live in a world that often measures greatness by success, status, popularity, influence, and how many people follow us. But Jesus has a very different definition of greatness.

This Sunday at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, join us for a powerful message from The Rev. Dr. Andrew T. Okai on Matthew 18:1–20 as we discover what greatness looks like from God’s perspective.

Jesus turns the world’s idea of greatness upside down. Greatness isn’t about climbing higher—it’s about bowing lower. It’s found in humility, seeking those who have wandered, restoring broken relationships, and living together as the people of God.
