Acts 2:1-4
2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.

We are issuing an urgent call to every clergy person, officer, and member of the AME Church to stand with us in this critical moment. Join us this Sunday, May 3rd, at 6pm EST for our Freedom Summer Kickoff, a connectional effort to organize, mobilize, and protect our communities. As we experience the escalating assault on and erasure of our hard-fought rights, we cannot be silent or still.

Show up, speak up, and stand together as a Connectional church committed to justice and liberation. Our history has taught us that when the AME Church shows up, change becomes possible. Let us honor our legacy by responding with courage, clarity, and conviction as we begin this Freedom Summer.

WASHINGTON, ARE YOU READY?

The 2026 SED Series continues! We are headed to Ebenezer AME, Fort Washington, Maryland, for the 76th Session of the Washington Annual Conference, and the lineup is "First for Christ, Second to None!"

We are anticipating a standard of excellence as we gather at Ebenezer for worship, word, and stewardship. Our incredible lineup of preachers is preparing, and we are praying that God gives each of them a word that will edify, challenge, and empower.
