Bethany Lutheran Church Bethany is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Mary, Martha, and Lazarus were like family to Jesus… and he loved them like family.

In Jesus’s time on earth, Bethany was a town just outside of Jerusalem, where some of his closest friends lived. To all who need comfort, to all who seek friendship, to all who sin and need to be gathered to the Savior, Bethany opens wide its doors and in the name of Jesus says, "Welcome!"

Just a heads up for church tonight. You will not be able to get in via the South entrance. We are in the process of taking out and replacing the broken concrete around the church. The North entrance will be open throughout this construction.

Join Us for VBS at Bethany

Bethany is hosting Vacation Bible School this summer for kids going into 4K through Grade 5.

Dates: June 15–18, 2026

Time: 9:00–11:30am

Location: Bethany Lutheran Church, 530 W. Parkway Blvd, Appleton, WI

“Look at the birds of the air” writes Matthew. That is just what we do throughout the Bird Tales VBS course. By stepping into the fascinating world of the bird,s we will discover some lasting truths about the endless love of Jesus. Each Bird Tales VBS lesson is introduced with a different part of a bird’s life, such as its need for daily food, its love for praising God, its hope for a solid nest, and spreading its wings for the very first time.
