Christians only grow in the context of fellowship. Our aim is to be as committed to one another as we are committed to Christ. Most believers don’t lack commitment, but oftentimes we are overly committed to the wrong things. Jesus had no problem asking people for a great commitment (Luke 14:33). He has committed to us the message of reconciliation (II Cor 5:19). So we ask members to totally commit ourselves to Christ, His Church and His Commission. A person must obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After hearing the Gospel (Rom 10:17) by faith this person must believe (Heb 11:6), repent of past sins (Acts 17:30), Confess Jesus to be Lord (Romans 10:9-10) and be baptized into Christ (Gal 3:27). This member then declares that he or she understands this congregation’s vision, strategy and structure. He or she publicly commits himself or herself to God and to the other members ( Rom 12:5).God expects us not only to be faithful but to be fruitful (John 15: 8)

Join us this Sunday morning at Delta Bay Community Church for a powerful message titled “Sacrifice Without Surrender,” from 1 Samuel 15:13-22.

In this passage, King Saul attempts to justify his disobedience to God, but the prophet Samuel reminds him of a powerful truth: obedience is better than sacrifice. God desires more than outward religious actions; He wants hearts that are fully committed to His Word and His will.

This Sunday, we will explore what it means to obey God completely, surrender our own desires, and live out our faith beyond words. You can make sacrifices and still struggle to surrender, but true worship begins with a heart that is willing to obey.

Thank you to everyone who came out to worship with us this morning at Delta Bay Community Church! What a blessing it was to share in such wonderful fellowship, heartfelt singing, and an inspirational word from God.

Today’s message, “When Devotion Leaves You in the Dark,” reminded us of the importance of understanding how we overcome the “honey restrictions” in the church. Sometimes, the very things we commit ourselves to can become obstacles when we lose sight of God’s purpose and direction. We must learn to walk in wisdom, remain obedient to His Word, and make sure our devotion draws us closer to Him rather than placing unnecessary burdens on ourselves and others.

We are grateful for every smile, every song, every prayer, and every heart that joined us today. There is something special about coming together as one body, encouraging one another, and growing together in faith.

To everyone who worshipped with us, thank you for being part of the Delta Bay Community Church family. If you joined us for the first time, we pray you felt welcomed, loved, and at home.

We look forward to gathering together again as we continue to grow in faith, walk in truth, and live out God’s purpose for our lives.

Have you ever been so focused on the journey that you forgot to seek God’s direction along the way?

Join us at Delta Bay Community Church for an inspiring worship experience and a powerful message titled “When Devotion Leaves You in the Dark,” based on 1 Samuel 14:31–37.

In this passage, Saul and the Israelites become so caught up in battle that their actions lead them into spiritual trouble. When Saul seeks direction from God, he receives no answer. This moment reminds us that religious activity alone is not enough. We must remain obedient to God, walk in His wisdom, and keep our hearts aligned with His will. Even when we are busy doing what we believe is right, we must never lose sight of the One who leads us.

Are you pursuing God’s heart, or simply going through the motions? Come expecting a word that will challenge your faith, renew your perspective, and draw you closer to God.

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday morning to Delta Bay Community Church for our Sunday Morning Worship Celebration! What a wonderful time of worship, fellowship, and receiving a word from the Lord.

Our praise team was outstanding and truly helped set the atmosphere for a powerful worship experience!

Mother Archie reminded us to order our steps in the Lord, while Pastor Francies helped us see that the we is bigger than the me. God never intended for us to walk through life alone. He always attaches a companion to help us endure the crisis and reminds us that we are stronger together.

We are so grateful for everyone who came out, worshiped with us, and shared in this special time. We look forward to seeing you all next week in the house of the Lord!
