When we met Momma A, she was later on in her 2nd trimester and seeking an abortion. The center she went to referred her to a late term abortion center. That’s when she met our team. Momma A had 3 children already and did not have a stable living situation. By God’s grace she accepted the help of our team who mentored her, prayed regularly for her and encouraged her throughout the pregnancy. When it came time for this precious one to be born, our team helped with needed baby items and kept in contact when momma got into a short term housing program. After much prayer and hard work, Momma A has secured her own apartment where she can live with her now 4 children. When her mentor learned she had absolutely nothing to bring to her new home, she rallied the support of others and put the need out for greatly needed items. She was able to fill up a whole U-Haul and now Momma A’s house is completely furnished 😭 in Momma A’s own words:
“I am still in shock to be honest. I can’t believe you guys just came and did that for us. We are so happy and it feels so homey we are in love so much. I have never seen my kids so happy and excited in a way I can’t explain. They get to be themselves without having to walk on eggshell in their own home. We really love you guys and appreciate it all. Thank God. We are truly blessed and I am soaking it all in.”
