From our mission team Day 1. π¬πΉ
What a beautiful day in Guatemala.
Today our team traveled high into the mountains to visit two remote Mayan villages. As we walked dirt roads, visited homes, shared meals, and listened to stories, we were reminded once again that God's presence is not limited by geography. He is moving in every place and among every people. π
One of the most powerful moments came as we visited with a family who shared that they had drifted away from the Lord and had been waiting for an opportunity to come back to Him. We prayed together, encouraged them in their faith, and witnessed the Holy Spirit minister in a way that only He can. It was a sacred reminder that God is always pursuing His children. π€²
Throughout the day, we shared salvation bracelets and the message of Jesus with children and parents. It was such a joy to watch faces light up as they heard the story of God's love and the hope found in Christ.
We also had the privilege of delivering provisions to families in need. Yet as often happens on mission trips, we found ourselves receiving as much as we gave. The kindness, generosity, and faith of the people we met challenged and encouraged our own hearts.
As we gathered around the table with our new Guatemalan family, sharing a meal together, a gentle rain began to fall. It was a sweet moment of fellowship and a beautiful picture of God's blessing over the day. Thank you for continuing to pray for our team. We are seeing God open doors, soften hearts, and remind us that His love reaches across every language, culture, and border. We are grateful to be a small part of what He is doing here. β€οΈπ¬πΉππ»
