Some of the best community happens around the table.

Brunch Bunch meets two Sundays a month after worship at the Walton family’s home. And when we say family-friendly, we mean it—there are always LOTS of kids! Bring your children, bring a friend, bring your family, and come spend the afternoon with us.

Misti & Jeff have lived in Anna for 10 years, have five kids and three dogs, and work for a nonprofit serving foster families and children in foster care. They have a heart for including all people and would genuinely love to get to know you.

You don’t have to already know someone. Just come, eat, laugh, and find your people. 💙

118: A Community Ministry Hub

118 is a place where ministry meets community care.

Located in downtown Anna, 118 is a ministry center of The Gathering United Methodist Church created to bring together people and organizations whose work strengthens individuals, families, and our community.

We envision counselors, social workers, educators, tutors, financial coaches, nonprofit leaders, foster and adoptive family advocates, recovery and peer-support professionals, family support specialists, community outreach leaders, and others in helping professions working alongside one another.

This isn’t simply about sharing office space. It’s about creating a community ministry hub where relationships form, resources are shared, referrals happen naturally, and neighbors can find support in one welcoming place.

118 offers shared workspace with comfortable seating, a work and meeting table, Wi-Fi, printer access, utilities, and parking.

We’re especially interested in connecting with professionals, nonprofits, and community organizations whose work aligns with a shared commitment to care for people and strengthen our community.

There’s room at 118 for more good work to happen.

🍂 Fall is officially here—and something new is coming to Downtown Anna.

This October, we’re opening the Downtown Pumpkin Patch for the very first time.

Beginning October 17, stop by for pumpkins, fall photos, community events, and a new place to enjoy the season right here in downtown.

Don’t just come to church. Find your people. 💙

Small groups are where we move from attending church to actually doing life and following Jesus together. It’s where questions get asked, friendships grow, prayers are shared, and discipleship happens.

So pick a group and jump in!

🥞 Brunch Bunch — Twice a month after Sunday worship at the Walton family’s home. Come hungry, bring the kids, and stay awhile!

🌱 Fresh Starts — Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM at our Ministry Center, 118 W. 2nd Street. If you’ve walked away from church, been disappointed by it, or have big faith questions—this space is for you.

🙏 Men’s Group — Tuesdays at 6:15 PM. Come study, pray, build friendships, and get ready to serve our community together.

You don’t need to know everyone. You don’t need to have all the answers. You just have to show up.
