There is no other Savior. No other source of eternal life. It’s only Jesus.

We cannot earn our way to God, build a religious resume, or make ourselves worthy of salvation. But the same Jesus who calls us to believe in Him also makes this incredible promise: “Whoever comes to me I will never cast out.” (John 6:37)

The invitation is simple: Stop striving to earn what only Jesus can give. Come to Him in faith and receive the life that only He provides.

What are you trusting to make you right with God?

Being a good person, going to church, and serving others can become rungs on a ladder we hope will get us there. But no amount of climbing can save us.

Jesus came down, died for our sins, and rose again. Turn from your sin and trust in him alone. Everyone who comes to him will be received.

Spiritual life isn’t something we can achieve through effort, good works, or a checklist of religious duties. It’s something only Jesus can give.

The answer isn’t to try harder or do more. It’s to believe that Jesus is who He says He is and that He has accomplished what He promised.

Not more striving. Not more boxes to check. Jesus and only Jesus.

Our greatest need is not something this world can satisfy.

In the wilderness, God provided bread to sustain His people for another day. But in Jesus, He has given us something far greater: the true Bread from heaven, who alone can satisfy our deepest spiritual hunger and give eternal life.

This Sunday, we’ll continue in the Gospel of John as we consider what it means to find our life and lasting satisfaction in Christ.

We often look to the things around us to satisfy what’s missing within us. But no amount of success, security, relationships, or self-made solutions can satisfy the deepest thirst of our souls.

In Jeremiah 2, God confronts His people for abandoning the fountain of living water and digging broken cisterns that could never hold water. It’s a picture of what happens when we look anywhere but God for lasting satisfaction.

Jesus offers something better. Not another temporary fix, but living water that truly satisfies.

What are you looking to for lasting satisfaction?

Achievement, relationships, and possessions can be good gifts. But we ask too much of them when we expect them to satisfy our deepest thirst.

Jesus gives us His Holy Spirit, the very presence of God within us. A spring that never runs dry.

Jesus doesn’t just offer temporary satisfaction. He gives us the Holy Spirit, a living spring within every believer that continually produces spiritual life.

We don’t have to keep searching for fulfillment in the things around us because the very presence of God dwells within us. What Jesus gives isn’t another drink. It’s a fountain that never runs dry.
