AFCNAZ Teen Camp Day #2 Recap Video

Day two at AFCNAZ Teen Camp 2026 focused on GROW as we explored Jesus’ parable in Mark 4:26-29. In a world that celebrates instant results, Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom of God grows like a seed :: quietly, gradually, and often in ways we cannot immediately see.

Students were encouraged by the truth that healthy things grow slowly. Just because growth is invisible does not mean God is not working. Roots develop before fruit appears, and God often does His deepest work beneath the surface before it becomes visible to others.

We challenged students to stop comparing their journey to someone else’s and to trust the process of grace. Growth happens in stages, and God is patient with growing people.
The evening concluded with a meaningful response as students surrendered areas of discouragement, frustration, and doubt, asking God to continue His work in their lives. We are thankful for the ways God is growing His Kingdom in the hearts of students this week.

Of course we had an amazing time and YES we slept well

AFCNAZ Teen Camp Day #1 Recap Video

Night One at AFCNAZ Teen Camp 2026 focused on ROOTS as we explored Jeremiah 17:5-8. Through the image of two very different plants, Jeremiah reminds us that those who trust in themselves are like shrubs in a desert, while those who trust in the Lord are like trees planted by water, with roots that run deep.

Students were challenged to consider what they are truly rooted in and were reminded that healthy roots survive dry seasons. More importantly, we heard the good news that Jesus invites us into a life-giving relationship with Him—not merely to make us more religious, but to become our Savior, King, and Friend.

The response was powerful as many students responded to the invitation to place their trust in Christ for the first time or recommit their lives to Him. We are grateful for what God has already begun and excited to see how He continues to grow deep roots throughout the rest of the week.

“Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.” — Colossians 2:7

It is incredibly easy to feel overwhelmed by the weight of daily responsibilities or the uncertainties of the future. When life feels difficult, we often try to carry the burden ourselves, dangling on the edge of our own strength. But the message of today is clear: God does not want us to walk alone.

He is the One who goes before you, meaning He has already prepared the way. He is intimately aware of your struggles and promises to never abandon you. By surrendering your worries and trusting in His promises, you trade your fear and anxiety for His peace and unshakeable strength.

We pray,
Lord, when life is difficult and my own strength feels insufficient, help me to freely surrender my troubles to You. Thank You for Your promise to go before me and to never leave my side. Give me the courage to trust You today and the grace to walk in Your perfect peace. In Your mighty name, Amen.
