THIS WEEK AT ST. GEORGE'S

Our outreach collection for this month is for the Humane Society. Please donate (new or used) bath towels, pillow cases and stainless steel pet bowls in the bin in back of church.

Morning Worship: Sunday, Sept. 6, 10 a.m. Please welcome The Rev. Chuck Messer, our supply priest for this Sunday. Stay afterward for coffee hour, provided by Lisa and Matt Lawrence.

No Bible Study this month.

Artisans meet at 10 a.m. Monday to create ornaments and other crafts for the Mistletoe Market in November.

Bingo at Terra Bella Assisted Living – Monday, Sept. 14th at 3:00 p.m.

The Knights (Men’s Fellowship) – Saturday, Sept. 19th at 10:00 a.m. in the St. George’s House.

Book Discussion: "Theo of Golden" – Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:00 p.m. led by Kathryn Smith.

Third Sunday Bible Study – will not meet in September. This will resume on Sunday, October 18th with the topic: Creation Care and Climate Change.

Morning Worship -- 10 a.m., Aug. 30. We will gather in the Pavilion afterward for a pot-luck dinner. The church will provide the main course. Please bring sides, desserts or beverages to share.

Monday Bible Study – Rev. Susan will be off the month of September. There will be no Monday Bible Studay until Oct. 5th when it will resume at 10:00 a.m.

Artisans – Monday, August 31st at 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 2nd at 6:00 p.m.

Could these be the Knights of the. . .Rectangular Table? Yes! Eight of the St. George Knights gathered for fun and fellowship on a recent Saturday, visiting the workshop of Dave Boles and then reparing to the Clock Restaurant for lunch. They had a great time together!

Rev. Susan is looking for a few volunteers to feed the cats during September. She plans to set up a weekly rota. Food is available at the church. Typically the cats are fed in the morning but we can make it work for your schedule. If you are able to help, please text or email Rev. Susan.
