Sometimes what runs out around us reveals what we have been relying on within us. 🙏🏾 At the wedding in Cana, the wine shortage was visible, but the deeper issue was about who had authority when the plan stopped working. Jesus was already in the room, yet the need still had to be brought to Him.

We can do the same thing in everyday life when we love Jesus but still carry our families, finances, decisions, and plans as though everything depends on us. When our own strategy reaches its limit, God can use that moment to reveal where we need to trust Him more deeply.

Jesus does not simply belong on the guest list of our lives. He belongs at the center, with authority over how we build, choose, and move forward. ❤️

Some days, your feelings can get loud. Fear says it won’t work out. Anxiety tells you to expect the worst. Doubt makes you question what you know about God. In those moments, we need something stronger than the emotions pulling at us.

God’s Word gives us truth we can come back to again and again. When your mind is racing, when life feels uncertain, or when your heart is tired, remind yourself of what God has already said. You are loved. You are seen. God is with you, and His Word is still trustworthy. 🙏🏾

Take a few minutes today to open your Bible and give truth the final word. This is how we grow together, one ordinary day and one faithful step at a time. ❤️

Sometimes the invitation someone needs is as simple as, “Come sit with me.” 💙 Think about the people you see every week. The coworker carrying more than they talk about. The neighbor who could use a little community. The friend who has been asking questions about faith. The family member who keeps saying, “One Sunday, I’ll come with you.”

Send the text. Make the call. Save them a seat. 😊

Late nights, long days, endless responsibilities… Motherhood can sometimes feel overwhelming and lonely. But at Salem Missionary Baptist Church, we want every mother to know: you are seen, valued, and supported. 🩵

Our Community Baby Shower with AnMed is an opportunity to connect, be encouraged, and build community with others walking a similar journey. Because no mother should have to walk alone. 🙏🏾

Sometimes people know what you have been dealing with, and they wonder how you can still come to church, lift your hands, and praise God with everything happening in your life. The answer is found in a simple truth from this message: you can have problems without allowing your problems to have you. 🙌🏾

There may be bills weighing on your mind, trouble in your family, uncertainty at work, or something personal that you have not shared with anyone else. Those struggles are real, but you can still praise God because you know you are not carrying them alone. God is your protector, He is a shield around you, and He remains with you through every difficult season. ❤️

Even when you feel like you have reached rock bottom, remember that Jesus is the Rock at the bottom. When life becomes heavy, you can talk honestly with God about what hurts, what worries you, and what you do not know how to handle. Prayer gives you a place to bring every burden to the One who already knows what you are facing and is still holding you through it. 🙏🏾

Whatever you are carrying today, keep talking to God and keep trusting Him. Your problems may be part of what you are going through right now, but you can continue praising because Jesus is with you through every step.

Somebody younger than you needs to hear the part of your story you’re tempted to leave out. Tell them about the prayer you prayed when you had no clue what to do next. Tell them about the mistake God taught you through. Tell them how you kept trusting when money was tight, when family life got complicated, or when your faith had more questions than answers. Tell them how God met you in real life, because that’s where they’re trying to find Him too. 💙

Our children and teens are watching how we live this faith. They need more than our instructions. They need our stories around the dinner table, in the car, after church, and during those random conversations when they finally start opening up.

Your testimony doesn’t need to sound impressive. Just tell the truth about what God has done. The next generation needs to know that the God we sing about on Sunday is faithful on Monday too. 🙏🏾

“We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.” Psalm 78:4

There is comfort in knowing that when you are in the hands of God, you are in a place where He is keeping you and watching over you. Life may bring moments when the enemy throws darts your way and tries to shake your confidence, but you can keep walking with the assurance that God’s protection surrounds you. 🙏🏾

Think about how differently you can face a difficult day when you remember that you are not walking through it uncovered. God is your shield, and His hand is still holding you through every situation that tries to make you afraid, discouraged, or uncertain. You can trust Him to protect you, keep you, and help you remain standing when trouble comes. ❤️

Whatever comes your way this week, remember whose hands you are in. You can move forward with confidence because the same God who has been keeping you is still surrounding your life with His protection.
