Kontakion for the Saint:

“Wounded with the love of Christ, O venerable one, and following Him with unwavering desire,/ thou didst despise all the delight of the flesh, and hast shone forth like the sun upon thy native land;/ wherefore, Christ hath enriched thee with the gift of miracles./ Be thou mindful of us who honor thine all-radiant memory,// that we may cry to thee: Rejoice, O divinely wise Sergius!”

The monthly cleaning day is this Saturday at 10am!

As we prepare to celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos and the Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-giving Cross, we will gather this Saturday at 10 AM to clean and prepare our church.

Everyone is invited to come and lend a hand as we prepare our temple for these beautiful and holy celebrations. Please don’t feel that you need to stay for the entire time, even if you can only spare an hour, your help is greatly appreciated!

There is always something that can be done, and when we work together, our small efforts become an offering of love to God and to our parish community.
