Meet Thalia and Nikki! They’re new growth group leaders for on of our women’s groups! In their own words:

We’re really excited for this group and want it to be a space where women can come as they are, build genuine friendships, grow in their faith, and have lots of fun along the way! Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for years or are just getting started, there’s a place for you here.

We’ll be going through the Abide study by Jen Wilkin, which focuses on 1, 2, and 3 John and what it looks like to abide in Christ and live out our faith every day. We’re excited to learn together, encourage one another, and put what we’re learning into practice.

We’re planning a mix of Bible study, real conversations, getting to know each other, lots of laughs, and fun nights together! We also hope to make memories outside of our regular group nights by grabbing food, doing something fun, or simply hanging out.

More than anything, we’re praying this will be a season where women feel encouraged, challenged, and reminded that they don’t have to do life or their faith journey alone. We’re so excited to see what God does through this group! 🤍

Meet Don and Lynn! They’re starting a new growth group that answers questions about your faith. In their own words:

My wife and I have been serving side-by-side in ministry for about 35 years. I pastored a church for 12 years…..and have done this type of apologetics study for almost 30 years. My main focus is to allow Christians, who would normally shy away from discussions about their faith, because they feel inadequate ….to be able to defend what they believe with confidence.  

We will be giving lots of handouts, and information on many topics.  Our hope is that anyone who has been challenged about their faith, the accuracy of the Bible, who Jesus is ….among other challenges…they will have the confidence to do as Peter said…. “to always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you”

Obviously, we cannot cover every topic in its entirety, but will be giving enough information to stir their appetite for learning more.

Meet Sharon and Brielle! They’re starting a new growth group for high schoolers. In their own words:

Our group will be a Bible study, based around character-building curriculum that has a trait for each week. It’s tailored to teenagers who are going through the high school years, and it’s lead by fellow teenagers so we walk together through it. We can build a community that is by people who understand and care about you, and who want to get deep into learning about God and how he shapes your everyday life. We will meet on Fridays at the church from 7:00 to 8:30!
