OKTOBERFEST – Wednesday, Oktober 7 at 6:00 P.M.

This year Oktoberfest is coming to St. Mary’s! Enjoy a fun-filled evening with German food & drink, live music, dancing, and a raffle!

Whether you’re a seasoned Oktoberfest veteran or a first timer, this is an event you won’t want to miss! You are encouraged to wear your best lederhosen or dirndl and bring your own stein for the celebration!

From sizzling bratwurst to freshly baked pretzels, we will have a feast of traditional German cuisine that will make you feel like you're in Bavaria!

Authentic Beer & non-alcoholic drinks will be served. Children are welcome, but there are no specific activities planned for children.

Heaven in Stone and Glass, a new documentary from Bishop Robert Barron and Word on Fire, takes viewers on a breathtaking pilgrimage through five of France’s greatest Gothic cathedrals: Chartres, Notre-Dame, Reims, Amiens, and Saint-Denis. Inspired in part by the 2019 fire at Notre-Dame, the film explores how these magnificent churches proclaim the Christian faith through architecture, art, Scripture, and worship. More than beautiful buildings, these cathedrals testify to humanity’s longing for God and point us toward heaven.

We've been busy! Some DIY work in the office! Removed old carpeting and wallpaper, now working on priming the walls. Lots of scraping and sanding preceded. Soon the floors will be refinished. Fr. Van Wormer and his father-in-law Don Kokinchak have been hard at work to refresh this space!
