Today during our children’s message and in Children's Church at Midway Baptist, we learned that Jesus wants us to spread the Good News! Just as the disciples shared the message of God's love with others, we are called to tell people about Jesus through our words and actions.

We talked about ways children can share this with others:
❤️ Being kind to others
🙏 Praying for friends and family
😊 Inviting others to church
📖 Sharing Bible stories and what they have learned about Jesus
🌟 Letting their light shine through their actions!

Jesus told His followers, "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). No matter our age, we can all help others learn about God's amazing love.
Thank you to all of our children for their enthusiasm and participation today. May we all look for opportunities this week to share the love of Jesus with others around us!

This Sunday we celebrated Pentecost. Pentecost was the day the Holy Spirit came with power and filled the believers with courage, joy, and faith! 🌬️🔥
We discovered that the Holy Spirit helps us love, serve, and share Jesus with others.

What a beautiful Mother’s Day service at
Midway Baptist Church today 💐🙌
Today’s message from John 14:15-21 reminded us of the comforting promise of Jesus:
“If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter…” ❤️🔥
We thank God for the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit that moved through the service and for every praying mother, grandmother, and mother figure who has shown us the love of Christ through their faithfulness, strength, and prayers.
Just as Jesus promised He would never leave us comfortless, mothers so often reflect that same comforting love and care in our lives each day. Today we honor and celebrate the incredible women God has placed in our lives.
Thank you to everyone who worshipped with us today. We pray you felt the love of God, the power of His Spirit, and the joy of fellowship.
Happy Mother’s Day from our church family! 🌷

Today’s Children’s Message at Midway Baptist Church was based on John 14: 1-14
We talked about one of the most powerful things Jesus said in John 14:1–14 “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Sometimes life can feel confusing, and it’s not always easy to know what’s right or who to trust. But Jesus reminds us that we don’t have to figure everything out on our own. He is our truth. Someone we can always trust, no matter what.
Just like we trust a parent, teacher, or friend to guide us, we can trust Jesus to lead us in the right direction.
When we follow Jesus, we are walking in truth every day! Pastor Todd Blake reminded us to always respond the way Jesus would have when we are faced with challenging situations. Let others see Jesus through you! 🗺️ ❤️
