Brown Street Baptist Church is an congregation associated with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches, IL/MO Association of Regular Baptist Churches and the Mississippi Valley Fellowship of Baptist Churches. We are located in the Metro-East region of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area in Southern Illinois. Alton has a population of 28,000 and is the birthplace of the "Gentle Giant", Robert Wadlow, who stood 8 feet, 11.1 inches tall.

Normally, a less-formal Praise and Prayer service is at 6:30 PM. Instead, this week's guest speaker is Missionary Joe Mifsud from the Mediterranean island of Malta; we we will have a noon luncheon with him and no PM Service. Join us!

Psalm 122:1 "I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord."

This verse of scripture seems to jump off the page of the Bible it's written on as the Psalmist declared the tremendous joy and anticipation he had at the mere mention of going to the house of the Lord. We welcome you to our worship services this weekend at Brown Street Baptist Church! Bible Fellowship Classes are at 9:30 AM and our main Worship time is 10:30 AM. A less-formal Praise and Prayer service is at 6:30 PM - this week, it's led by the teens and includes their summer camp testimonies.
