Our Story
Calvary Cares, a community ministry of Calvary Baptist Church of Alton brings the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our community by offering Family Support Services to those in need. Specifically, Calvary Cares provides financial assistance, support groups (grief, addictions) confidential counseling, criminal justice chaplains, mentoring and classes which instruct individuals in life skills, all in an effort to meet physical needs and to present spiritual truth. Taking a non-crisis intervention approach Calvary Cares networks with our community to bring hope and healing while building the family. Calvary Cares serves to model for our community, the life we live at Calvary Baptist Church of Alton.
