🍂 **HELLO, SEPTEMBER!**

A new month is another opportunity to thank God for what He has done, trust Him for what He is doing, and walk faithfully into what He has prepared for us.

As we enter September, we're looking forward to a month filled with **worship, fellowship, family, love, and service** at Greater St. James!

VBS Recap:

One of the sweetest experiments happened in our Arts & Crafts Lab, led by Sis. Lisa Jones. Our young scientists had so much fun creating their own chocolate covered pretzels, but the greatest lesson wasn’t the chocolate-it was what it represented.

In I Samuel 1:9-20, Hannah came before God with a heart that was genuine, honest and full of faith. She didn’t pretend everything was okay. She poured out her heart in prayer, trusting God to hear her.

Just as each pretzel was dipped and completely covered in chocolate, we talked about how our hearts should be completely covered in faith as we bring our prayers to God!
