*History*

Hamzah Islamic Center was founded in 2005 based on the principles described above. The center rented a property of 6,000 SQ FT to accommodate both Jumaa prayers and its growing Sunday school demands. The community grew so much, by the Grace of God, that a new center has purchased. It is 11.9 acres of land approximately a mile west of our current rentedl location. A county hearing was he

ld at Forsyth County to approve building of a prayer hall, gym, religious school, daycare, playgrounds and more. Alhamdulillah, the project was unanimously approved by all commissioners.

Assalamu Alaikum, Dear Brothers and Sisters

*Eid Mubarak* to you and your families.

We thank Allah سبحانه و تعالي for blessing us with this joyous day and we pray that He accepts our worship, our duas and our sacrifices. Aameen.

*Eid Al-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday , May 27, 2026.*

*Eid Salah Timings:*

*First Salah:* 7:00 AM
Khateeb: Sh. Tareef Saeb

*Second Salah:* 9:00 AM
Khateeb: Sh. Shahir Raslan

We request everyone attending the first salah to leave the premises latest by 8:15 to make room for the next Salaah.

*Prayers Arrangements:*
Brothers will pray in the gymnasium, while sisters will pray in both the downstairs musallah and the upstairs area. Sisters with children are kindly requested to use the upstairs musallah.

*Overflow for Men’s Area:*
Special arrangements will be made to accommodate overflow for men. The handicap area may also be utilized. Handicapped individuals are requested to follow the instructions of our volunteers.

*Parking:*
Due to it being a weekday, METCAM parking lot will *NOT* be available

Kindly arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the salah and follow the directions of our volunteers to park in our facility.

- Parking on the side of the road will NOT be permitted. We will enforce this rule to maintain the positive relationship we have with our neighbors.
- Parking in the neighboring subdivision and on their lawn is strictly prohibited.

*Volunteer Requests:*
We are seeking additional volunteers to assist with parking and other setup tasks. Please contact Brother Abdur Razzaq or Brother Nadeem if you are able to volunteer.

*Qurbani Meat:*
In accordance with USDA regulations, meat will NOT be collected at the masjid. Interested donors may want to collaborate with each other and deliver the meat to Clarkston (or elsewhere) themselves.

*Expenses:*
We request $25 per family to cover Eid expenses.

Sweets and tea will be available for everyone to enjoy.
