Grace Lutheran Church ELCA Alpena, MI members donated food and hygiene items to help stock our Little Food Pantry. Our pantry is filled and emptied on a daily basis, helping to support our community during times of food insecurity. ๐Ÿž

This years North/West Synod Assembly was held in Portage MI on May 15th & 16th. Pastor Tom Orth, Shirley Diemond and Donna J Morgan attended from Grace Lutheran Church ELCA Alpena, MI. It was a time to gather, learn, pray, elect and CONNECT. ๐Ÿ’• Thank you Prince of Peace Lutheran Church for hosting this wonderful event.

MILLION PENNY OFFERING ๏ปฟAT SYNOD ASSEMBLY MAY 15 & 16

๏ปฟThe Synod has challenged each congregation to fill a milk jug with pennies and to have the delegates (for Grace it is Donna J Morgan, Shirley Diemond & Pastor Tom) bring that amount (in a paper check) to the Synod Assembly to support these two projects: Lutheran Disaster Response Ukraine and Samaritas New Americans.

LET'S BRING THOSE PENNIES IN BY MAY 13 AND ๏ปฟFILL THE JUG!!!!
(And we'll accept any change and even paper and checks!)
