What a great start for FCS!

Alpena Schools’ Fellowship of Christian Students held their first gathering of the year today, and what a blessing it was to be a small part of it!

We had the opportunity to help serve lunch to nearly 80 students, and our very own intern, Ty, brought the devotional and shared God’s Word with them.

We’re thankful for every person who gives, serves, helps, and prays to make opportunities like this possible. What an encouragement to see so many students gathering together in the middle of their school day to fellowship and hear from God’s Word!

Praying for a great year for FCS and for God to continue working in the lives of students at Alpena Schools!

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS ARE BACK THIS WEEK!

We’re excited to kick off another semester of Wednesday nights at First Baptist Church Alpena! There’s a place for the whole family—from our youngest kids to adults.

🏀 Gym doors open at 4:00 PM
🍽️ Dinner at 5:00 PM
📖 Classes begin at 5:45 PM

We’ll have classes for Pre-K & Kindergarten, school-age kids, Youth Group, and three new adult classes to choose from:

⚔️ MEN — SPIRITUAL WARFARE
What does the Bible teach about our enemy and the spiritual battle we face? This class will look at how God equips us to stand firm in our faith and live faithfully in the battle around us.
📍 Green Room

🌿 WOMEN — FULLY DEVOTED
Every disciple is a true believer in Christ, but not every believer lives as a true disciple. Join us as we journey through Jesus’ invitation to come to Him as you are, trust Him, surrender to Him, and follow Him with your life.
📍 Conference Room

🛤️ COED — DO ALL ROADS LEAD TO THE SAME PLACE?
Does it really matter what someone believes? Do I understand what I believe—and do I know how to share the Gospel with people who believe differently? Together, we’ll examine different religions and beliefs, compare them with what the Bible teaches, and learn how to lovingly and confidently share our faith.
