The greatest sin of the church from the first century to modern day is legalism.

The sin of legalism leads to self-righteousness which always breeds sinful behavior and activity. Legalism says a person can add something to the Gospel that merits God's favor; i.e. baptism, communion, Sabbath keeping, etc. Absolutely false! Legalism cries out, "my standard is better than your standard!" Beware the cunning trap laid by the enemy called legalism. Be reminded we are children of God's Grace. The gift supplied because of the Finished Work of the Cross.

Happy New Year 🎊🎇 May this be the year you draw closer to God than you ever have. May you come to realize the Holy Spirit is truly leading you and drawing you to be close to Jesus.
