Be the kind of spouse who remembers the mercy you’ve received.

Ask yourself: has God’s mercy actually changed you? Has it shaped you into someone different?

Because if it has, it will be evident in how you treat the person beside you each day. Not flawlessly, and not without effort—but steadily, over time.

The direction of your marriage should be bending toward mercy, not drifting away from it.
