What a great weekend in Monroe serving Jesus in our own state. In Friday, three teams went door to door giving out burgers but also telling the Good News of Jesus. Several people accepted Christ as their Savior. Many of our people helped local churches over two days by building, painting, and laying carpet. Today, a large group led a back-to-school blast at the pregnancy center. At least 58 moms where there along with countless children and other family members. The children had a great time, and the moms all got much needed support. We prayed for so many and told the Good News. Thanks so much to the missions minded servants who braved the heat and came out to serve in God’s kingdom.

We just set up Horseshoe Drive Care Closet collection bins outside of the church offices. We are collecting through August 9. Needed items include:

Children’s underwear (boys and girls, all sizes)
Children’s socks
Tissues
Disinfectant wipes
Hand sanitizer
Wooden pencils
Quart and gallon zip top bags

It was a packed tent last night at our last worship service in Teupasenti. So many who had been visited by team members, attended VBS, been treated in clinics, or played at our soccer camp came to sing praises to God.

We are now back at the Mission House and will visit the children’s home this afternoon.

Our Honduras team had our first ministry day in Teupasenti. We arrived Wednesday night. Today the medical clinic saw about 500 patients. Our eyeglass clinic, dental clinic, and pharmacy also stayed busy. There was great ministry at both the children’s VBS and the youth soccer camp. Most importantly, 30 people confessed faith in Jesus today. Tonight we are going to have more children’s, youth, men’s, and women’s ministries. Tomorrow we will continue the same work and have important follow up visits with people who have accepted Christ.
