Time of Prayer & Fasting
June 5 – 11, 2022

✨ We invite you to join us in setting aside this time to pray and fast together this upcoming week. Throughout history, God’s people have made fasting part of their worship. We hope you will join us as we seek and worship the Lord!

🙌 The theme for our time of prayer & fasting is "unveiled." We can't prevail unless we're unveiled before the Lord and lay down the things that secretly hold us back. We need to be unmasked before the Lord because if we hide it, He can't heal it/use it.

Time of Prayer & Fasting
June 5 – 11, 2022

🙏 Please join us in setting aside this time to pray and fast together. Throughout history, God’s people have made fasting part of their worship .

📖 Our Scripture reference is 2 Corinthians 3:14-18 (KJV) 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Be sensitive to the Lord's leading when choosing your fast. In the Bible alone, fasting is mentioned upwards of 70 times, as a way to pray, petition God or express grief.

It’s important to note that you should consult with a medical doctor before fasting to ensure you do so in a healthy way.

Come hear testimonies of what God is doing in and through our 1st AG supported missionaries around the world. The cost is only $10 per person (6th grade and older). Kid's Church will enjoy a free lunch and a Special Missions Banquet in the LOL Wing on the 3rd floor (1st -5th grade). The Nursery will be available for infants to K.
