When Jesus Christ was conceived and born by God Father through the Virgin Mary, the Second Person of the Trinity became human. He was begotten, not created because He is the God who has always been and shall always continue to be. He is eternally God and became man so that we may confess Him as the Lord God who is "Verily God, Verily Man" (100% God and 100% Man simultaneously). In other words, Jesus has always been and will always be God The Son, and he became man for the salvation of all mankind by His death, burial and resurrection.
What a Savior we celebrate this Christmas season.

To help understand Jesus Christ as our Savior it is significant to know that Jesus Healed the one who arrested Him, served the one who betrayed Him and loved the world (all of us) who crucified Him. There is no one else like Him. He is the only mediator (by His sacrifice on the cross) between God The Father and humanity.

We celebrate the baby placed in the manger who grew up, lived a sinless life, performed miracles and died for the sins, sickness and poverty of the world. That is who Jesus is. What a God and Savior He is. Do you know Him? Celebrate Him as Creator, Lord, King and Savior!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

"Thank You" - A beautiful worship song by the Katina's that is particularly appropriate for every day but especially Thanksgiving.

"Thanks be to God which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Paul of Tarsus.

Thankful people are filled with thanksgiving, gratitude and grace by actually verbally vocalizing their thanks to God and others. As human beings we have a need to say the words, "Thanks" and "Thank you" for our blessings. When we practice this act of giving thanks verbally it usually does something for others whom we are thanking but always does something for us. We are filled with gratitude, God's grace and God's presence. Victory in Christ (in this life and eternally) is the result. Say or even sing the words, "Thank You" as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving.

The Katinas sing "Thank You" at Cornerstone Church on Sunday, October 6th, 2019.

Remember all the blessings we have and our privilege to give thanks to God. Song by Noel Richards, We Give Thanks.

Jesus is Lord!
Many people may say it flippantly or even vainly today. However, the confession of this phrase is the foundation of the christian faith. Christianity is known as the Great Confession since the early church when the early christians would not renounce their confession and allegiance to their Lord Jesus Christ even when it meant martyrdom under the Roman Empire's persecutions.
We receive God's grace of eternal salvation through this confession of faith and only in Jesus name. However, It is so much more than just saying the words. It is a change of heart and ownership of one's life. When I submit to Christ as my Lord and Savior, I no longer am in charge. I don't set the terms. I don't live any more as the Lord and Master of my own life, time, resources, relationships, purpose and destiny. It all belongs to Christ.
I am now saved by grace and required by new covenant to submit myself to God, die to myself (my fleshly or sinful desires) and resist the devil and all evil with all that is in my being for I have been bought by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. My life is no longer my own. I am His disciple. I am a new creation, a new person, in Christ Jesus. I have been crucified in Christ, nevertheless I live a new life in which Christ is living through me and I am living by the supernatural faith of the Son of God.
There is nothing else like this. No religion can even come close to real christianity. All religions are simply not the same. No one in all of human history can compare to the Lord Jesus Christ. No one else created all there is. No one else was the Son of God, born of the Virgin and the Holy Spirit. No one else was God and Man. No one else accomplished for us what Jesus Christ did through His death on the cross and subsequent resurrection to defeat death and give us eternal life. Therefore, no one else can be Lord, Jesus is Lord!
Welcome to christianity 101 where Jesus is truly Lord in our lives. Life will now be filled with challenges, adventures of faith and the power of God's Holy Spirit at work in and through our lives. We will no longer live for ourselves but live to give and serve.
New life has come because Jesus is my Lord.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome it. (John 1:5)

Understand this today please. Jesus Christ, the light of the world and the light of His Gospel in and through the life of every true believer, continues to shine in the darkness today (and overcome it). The darkness simply cannot stop it. As a matter of fact, everywhere that it goes, (or it is lit like a candle or turned on like a light switch), darkness is dispelled and overcome.

The light of Jesus Christ and His Gospel of love is the hope, faith, and change that everyone needs.

“Many times, as humans, we’re tempted to go to the dark side. I Thessalonians 5:16 encourages us to 1) rejoice always, 2) pray without ceasing, 3) give thank in all circumstances. We don’t necessarily give thanks “for” all things but “in” all things. Why? Psalm 136:1 says “Because God is good, and his mercies endure forever.” -Pastor Brent Vermillion 🙏🏼❤️

Join us on Sundays at 10:30 at Reality Church.
