We are a congregation which reflects the cultural diversity of individuals and families who reside in the Washington metro area. tist Church is a self governing body of believers and chooses to affiliate with several local, state and national partners, including the NorthStar Church Network (a Northern Virginia Association of Baptist congregations), the Baptist General Association of Virginia and The Southern Baptist Convention. Emmanuel actively supports a number of mission activities through local organizations such as the United Community Ministries and national and international missions through the Virginia Baptist Mission Board, North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board.
