We welcomed these four individuals into our Jewish community this Shabbat. Mazel Tov! If you would like to learn more about Judaism, Rabbi Judy will be teaching a class on August 22 that will give an overview of what we believe, our history, customs, holidays, life cycle events and more. We will taste some Jewish foods and tour the synagogue. There will be time for questions. For more information or to pre-register, contact [email protected]

We had a wonderful turnout for our Holocaust Remembrance Service last night. Our speaker, Adena Bernstein was outstanding! It was great to have choirs from ASH and Pineville perform. And thanks to everyone who participated in the service especially Pastor Chris Thacker, Rabbi Judy Ginsburgh, Mayor Jacques Roy and pianist Jeffrey Nolan. We must continue to tell them stories so we never forget.

Be sure to join us for our Holocaust Remembrance Service Monday, April 13 at 6 pm. We begin with a brief service at the Holocaust Memorial and then walk to Emmanuel Baptist Church for our guest speaker, special music and lighting of the memorial candles. The event is free and open to all. We must never forget.
