We are called and chosen to spread God's love. We use what we have learned through life to share how God is always present.

10/28/2026

Being chosen isn't just comforting—it's a calling. God invites you to be molded and formed more like Christ. Moving toward perfection means loving the way Jesus loved. Take what you've learned and share it with the world.

10/25/2026

Today we look at what it means to bear witness of Christ to a world that so needs to know Him. Our scriptures are Matthew 22:34-40 and 1 Thessalonians 2:1-8. Please join us at 10:00.

Aldie UMC has been added to the Loudoun County Heritage Register. The plaque was presented at the October Ruritan meeting. Many thanks to the Aldie Heritage Association for the nomination that led to this recognition. Pictured are Will Milone of the Department of Planning and Zoning and Pastor Gwen Hess.

As we celebrate the laity of the church, remember, each of you has been created by, and called by, God. You are God's masterpiece. Let us go and build God's kingdom here on earth.

10/20/2026

This week, take a few quiet moments each morning to remind yourself that God knows you by name and has called you with purpose. Then look for one specific, practical way to be God's hands and feet to someone around you, whether at work, at home, or in your community. At the end of the week, reflect on how that experience shaped your sense of calling and your awareness of God's presence with you.

10/20/2026

Your life isn't random. God called you by name to be God's hands and feet in this world. This Laity Sunday, embrace the blessed and wondrous calling God has for YOU.

10/18/2026

Thanks to all who helped with or shopped at our fabulous Rummage Sale! This Sunday is Laity Sunday, and we will celebrate all of you! Our scriptures are John 20:11-16 and Exodus 33:12-23. Hope to see you at 10:00.
