It’s not that I don’t love the land of my earthly citizenship, it’s just that, in light of eternity, my earthly nation is but a tiny speck in comparison to my heavenly one, and my heart, emotions, and mind should be consumed with loyalty to my true King and His eternal Kingdom. It may even be that the more patriotic we tend to be to America in our flesh, the more we should study to keep that loyalty in check.”
