itage has always sought a wide diversity of voices and opinions within our common life of faith. We follow a Lord who sat at table with tax collectors, sinners and righteous people alike. We follow a Lord who declared love of God and love of neighbor as being the greatest of all the commandments.

🌊 "Lord, save me!"🌊
Ever feel like you’re stepping out in faith, only to get completely overwhelmed by the waves around you?
In Matthew 14:22–33, we see a powerful reminder of what happens when we take our eyes off Jesus. Peter actually walks on water!
But the moment he focuses on the fierce winds and the raging storm, fear sets in, and he begins to sink.
Here are three quick takeaways from this incredible story:
🌊Storms are setups for miracles. Jesus often meets us right in the middle of our darkest, most turbulent hours.
🌊Keep your eyes on the Savior, not the storm. Peter didn't sink because the water was deep; he sank because his focus shifted.
His rescue is immediate. The second Peter cried out, Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him.
🌊No matter how big your waves feel today, remember that the One who commands the wind and the sea is walking right beside you. He won't let you drown. 🙏✨
