Our Women of Purpose widows have shared a need for a resource guide of trusted local businesses they can turn to when they need a helping hand. We’d love your help finding them!

Do you know a reputable Stanly County business—such as a plumber, electrician, mechanic, landscaper, or home repair professional—that cares about serving our community?

Our goal is to connect with these businesses about being included in the guide and ask whether they would be willing to offer a discount on their services to widows.

Meet Daniel Haskett, FAM’s Board Vice President! 👋🏼

Daniel has served on our board since 2023 and pastors Greater Life Church in Locust, one of our local church partners. He’s traveled to South Asia twice with our mission teams and continues to champion FAM’s mission both here in our community and internationally!

We’re thankful for Daniel’s leadership, his heart for widows and orphans, and the way he encourages others to put their faith into action. 🫶🏼

Join Women of Purpose for dinner at Blue Bay Seafood Restaurant on Thursday, November 5, at 6 PM, followed by bingo. It’s an extra chance to share a meal, laugh, and spend time with friends in addition to our usual monthly gatherings.

Widows in our community are welcome. We’d love to see you there!

These gatherings give foster, adoptive, and kinship families a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy time together. By taking care of dinner, your group can help make that possible!
