MEET THE PASTORS | Chris & Mandy Pate
Chris and Mandy have been part of the Harvest family since 2010, but their story together began long before that. They met as children and even led worship together on their youth worship team—a pretty fitting beginning for a couple who would one day spend so much of their lives serving the Lord together.
Today, Chris serves as Harvest’s Associate Pastor and Worship Pastor, while Mandy serves as our Women’s Ministry Director. Together, they share a passion for seeing people experience the love of God through worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and genuine relationship.
Chris has a true heart for discipleship. He loves encouraging people in their walk with Jesus and helping them grow in their faith. Whether he’s leading worship, teaching, or walking alongside someone personally, his desire is to point people toward a deeper relationship with the Lord. That heart for people also extends beyond the church—Chris is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
And when he isn’t doing any of that, there’s a good chance soccer is involved! Chris is an avid soccer fan and has spent many years coaching youth soccer.
Mandy has a beautiful heart for women to know who they are in Christ and to experience the grace and love of Jesus in a personal way. She leads with humility and a willingness to let God use her right where she is, continually pointing women away from perfection and toward the One who is perfect.
She is also incredibly creative, and if you’ve noticed a thoughtful detail or special touch somewhere around Harvest, there’s a good chance Mandy had something to do with it! She loves decorating and has a gift for making spaces feel beautiful, intentional, and welcoming.
Chris and Mandy have been married for 22 years and have three children, ages 18, 14, and 10. Their lives stay full! In addition to serving at Harvest, they lead worship for chapel at a local Christian school and help run a staging business alongside Mandy’s parents.
And when they do find some time to slow down? You’ll probably find them outdoors. They love camping, being outdoors, spending time together and escaping to the mountains whenever they get the chance.
From leading worship together as kids to raising a family and serving the church side by side today, Chris and Mandy’s story is one of faithfully continuing to say yes to where God leads.
