Frances "Fran" Paris — beloved wife of Leland, co-founder of YWAM Tyler, mother of Twin Oaks Ranch — has gone home to be with the Lord.

Frances Eloise Bergstrom Paris
December 9, 1938 - August 5, 2026

She and Leland were married for 65 years.

She stood beside him in 1974 when he and Loren Cunningham pioneered YWAM's Discipleship Training School. She stood beside him in 1980 when they founded YWAM Tyler on 365 acres in East Texas. She stood beside him through every yes to God that this Ranch has ever collected — quietly, faithfully, for 45 years.

Fran was not the woman behind the man. She was the co-founder. The covenant partner. The one whose yes to God is woven through every missionary this Ranch has ever sent.

And now, less than three months after Leland went home, she has followed him there.

We know some of you are grieving deeply. So are we. Please pray for the Paris family — for their children, their grandchildren, and the great cloud of witnesses this family has raised up around the world.

The Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 22 will now honor both Leland and Fran. Details to follow this week.

May her rest be sweet. May her yes carry forward.
