Are you seeking Jesus to be wowed or to be made new?

Sunday Morning Message -- Sept 20, 2026
Pastor Tony Rosas

Spectator or Seeker

Reflecting on post 9/11 reactions and Herod's encounter with Jesus, the message explores how fear drives individuals to seek comfort or answers, only to return to normalcy once the threat fades. Herod, perplexed by Jesus, sought control and spectacle rather than genuine truth. It contrasts self-made peace with the unconditional peace Jesus offers, challenging individuals to embrace faith and God's peace instead of living in uncertainty or fear.

Due to our phone service provider going out of business, we have been experiencing a complete outage of our phone service.

We have changed providers and have setup a new phone service, but our phone number has TEMPORARILY changed. We are working to recover our old phone numbers, but may be facing delays due to our old provider no longer being able to be contacted.

Our TEMPORARY phone number is (956) 502-0676. If you need to contact the church, we can be reached at this number until or original number has been reinstated.

Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience.
