This is being produced and performed by the producer who brought “Compassion” at St. Bernard in 2018. Additional tickets are also available. Father Chris will be there too. It should be a wonderful evening of music and much more than just a concert!

🌶️ The St. Mary’s Annual Chili Cook-Off is on September 12!

Join us for chili, fellowship, and fun!

Chili/food drop-off: 4:00 PM
Dinner & voting: 4:30 PM
Awards: ~5:30 PM
Game Night: 6:00 PM

RSVP by 5 PM on September 6 and let us know if you’ll bring chili, a side, dessert, or drinks. You only need to bring one!

Churches on the Air will also be happening throughout the day, featuring HAM radio contacts with churches around the world.

Did you know St. Mary's used to have a Holy Name Society? This banner was recently discovered at a local funeral home and returned to the parish! It will soon be on display in the church.

CCC 166-184: Living by Faith and Belief. In this week’s scripture Jesus speaks of a prophet's reward and the value of deciding based on faith. We can make a faith-based decision to the best of our ability. What does that actually mean? Discussing what faith is the catechism speaks of trusting what the Church teaches and proclaims to be revealed by God and using those things as the basis upon which to make our choices. Sometimes that means literally just because the Church proposes something, we do it. And in addition to the persecution that can come with being a person who makes such faith-based choices, also shall be blessings. 1) What doubts do I have in teachings of the Church and how can I pursue sources that can help them such as "Catholic Answers?" 2) Search with the internet or with books or both further explanation on a Church teaching you don't know much about. Browse www.formed.org 3) Remember the fruits of past faith-based decisions. 4) Offer to help someone understand a faith teaching better when the opportunity arises.

Deb was recognized for her dedication and service to others, especially through her outstanding work with St. Mary's After School Enrichment Program. Her compassion, commitment, and care have made a lasting impact on the lives of our students and their families.
