There are moments when the most important thing we can do is stop, seek the Lord, and listen for His voice.

Join us on Tuesday, June 16 in the Fireplace Room as we gather to pray, seek God's face, and ask for His guidance, wisdom, and blessing for our church, our community, and our lives.

What if the very thing you see as a weakness is the place where God wants to reveal His strength?

What a blessed time of fellowship and worship today at Church of the Holy Spirit.

One of the most powerful reminders from today's message was this: the Church is not called to simply wait for people to come to us. We are called to go.

As our guest preacher reflected on his own church's season of transition, he shared how they stopped expecting people to find them and instead heard the Lord say, "Don't come to us—we're coming to you."

That message resonates deeply with us as we continue our own season of transition. While we prayerfully seek God's direction for the future, the mission remains the same: to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Akron, sharing His love, hope, and grace with those around us.

The Church is not a building. The Church is God's people on mission.

Pentecost Sunday was a beautiful day of worship, fellowship, and encouragement at Holy Spirit Church.

Venerable Jeff Smead brought a timely message reminding us that the Holy Spirit is our Helper, Comforter, and guide — and that God still fills His people with power and purpose today.

We are thankful for all who came to worship and share in fellowship with us during this season of renewal and regrowth.

From May 31–June 14, Holy Spirit is collecting donations to bless local families through Akron’s LIFE and Family Assistance Centers!

Help us support new moms and dads by bringing donations to church on Sundays such as:

🧻 Wipes
🍼 Bottles
🧸 Pacifiers
👶 Bibs
🚗 New car seats
…and other baby essentials!

Every donation is a practical way to share Christ’s love with families in our community during an important season of life.
