Proverbs 29:25 KJV
[25] The fear of man bringeth a snare: But whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

I know how difficult it can be when it feels like God is distant.
When in the face of heartbreak and struggle, we find ourselves asking, “God, where are you? Where is Your goodness in this?” We want to continue to prioritize prayer, but what do we do when it feels like nothing is changing?
Oh friend, I understand. But I have also learned this truth: We may not always know why certain things happen, but we can trust that in this very moment, God is near and He is working.
If you feel like you’ve prayed the same prayers over and over, with little to no change, here are three ways you can keep pressing on with hope:
Know with confidence that God hears your prayers (1 John 5:14).
Trust that prayer makes a difference and leads to peace, even when you don't see the difference right away (Philippians 4:6-7).
Tell fear it has no place in this conversation (Isaiah 41:10).
Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing that God is working on you behalf.
