On **June 20, 2026**, the Friendship Baptist Church Grief Ministry hosted an informative workshop entitled:

**“Financial Affairs: Do You Need a Will or Trust?”**

The workshop featured keynote speaker **Sandra DeVoe Bland**, Founder and CEO of **SJ DeVoe & Associates**—a coaching, consulting, and training firm dedicated to helping individuals, organizations, and communities achieve greater success through purposeful leadership, financial wellness, and strategic growth.

We are grateful to Mrs. Bland for sharing her knowledge and helping attendees better understand the importance of planning for their families’ financial futures.

Friendship Baptist Church Children's Church ministry provided Juneteenth educational materials and played Juneteenth Bingo.
