CCM volunteers, who also represent various churches in Richland and Lexington counties, convened this morning at Hope Plaza to prepare for two upcoming events: The Third Annual CCM Hope & Help Conference (October 1 and 2, 2026), as well as The National Day of Prayer (May 6, 2027). [Left] CCM Missions Group at Hope Plaza held an appreciation luncheon for G&I Security to thank them for providing security services over the past year. Executive Director Sylvia Mickens and Resource & Solution Center Director Darlene Hunter did an excellent job in honoring the outgoing team members. [Right] SecurTec was onboarded this week with the full team to be in place on Monday, August 4. Both teams are committed to ensuring a smooth transition in security services at Hope Plaza.

It was a full house today at CCM Mission Group Wagener. Pictured from left, food boxes were prepared prior to the doors opening. Center: Volunteers helped with registrations. Right: 98-year-old volunteer, Iradell Goodwin, is still making the trip weekly to help clients address needs. Watch for an upcoming Mission Matters podcast on The Wagener Team, under the leadership of Directors Rob Rosche, Cynthia Gray, Dr. Joseph Miller, and others. Our volunteers are making a positive difference in the Wagener Community.

CCM Missions Group Allendale was a key participant in the Allendale-Barnwell-Bamberg Emergency Preparedness Outreach on July 17. Director Deborah Creech set up an interactive table at the event, provided information about CCM programs/services, distributed hygiene and educational items, and networked with agencies as we team to come alongside these communities. PS: As you can see from the picture below, we met special friends of all ages!
