Rodes United Methodist Church The people of Rodes UMC welcome you! Come worship with us this Sunday! Our worship services are held every Sunday at 10:45am, with Sunday School at 9:30am.

We are Rodes United Methodist Church, located in Afton, Virginia in the beautiful Rockfish Valley in Nelson County. Rodes UMC is in the Charlottesville District, and a member of the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church.

It’s apple butter making time again! Please join us on Saturday, September 19 as we make our famous apple butter on the grounds of Rodes United Methodist Church, 286 Avon Road, in Afton. We start at 5:00am, and it’s an all-day event, so come when you can and stay as long as you’d like. We hope you’ll come and “stir things up” with your friends from Rodes!
Also, mark your calendars for our annual Lord’s Acre Sale on Saturday, October 10, starting at 9:00am.
