As we begin the exciting journey of remodeling our sanctuary, we ask that you keep this project in your prayers. Over the next few months, all worship services will be held in the gym while construction is underway.

We've included a few pictures along with a prayer for this season. Thank you for your flexibility, encouragement, and prayers as we trust God to guide us through this new chapter. We look forward to all He has in store for our church family.

Lord God, we thank You for the many ways You have blessed our congregation within these walls. We thank You for all who have gathered here through the years to hear Your Word and receive Your Sacraments.
We praise You for those baptized at this font, for those who confessed their faith before this altar, and for the many times You have fed us here with the true body and blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You for the marriages blessed in this place and for the loved ones whose funerals were held here, whom we commend to Your care in the sure and certain hope of the resurrection.
We also thank You for the furnishings, as memorial gifts, that adorned this sanctuary by generations of Your people. We praise You for the faith and love that prompted these gifts and for the memories of those whom they honor. As some of these items are retired and others renewed, help us to remember with thanksgiving those who have gone before us in the faith.
As we leave this sanctuary for a season, we commend to Your blessing the gym where we will gather for worship. Grant that Your Word may be faithfully proclaimed, Your Sacraments rightly administered, and Your people gathered around the saving gifts of Christ.
Watch over all who labor in this renovation, and grant them safety, wisdom, and skill. Prosper this work according to Your will. Use this work to build on the blessings of the past and prepare us for the opportunities You are giving us in the future. As we look ahead to a renewed sanctuary, calm anxious hearts and grant us grace to honor the past with gratitude and embrace the future with confidence in Your continued faithfulness.
When this work is completed, grant that this sanctuary may continue to be a place where the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed and received for generations to come; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
