We also celebrate a special milestone today as we wish Carol Matheis a very Happy 80th Birthday! May God continue to bless her with joy, health, and many happy memories in the years ahead.

We send out a special thank you to her family for sharing their musical talents with us during worship today!

Today we get thanks for the gift of our Truine God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We gather in faith to worship the One who creates, redeems, and sustains us, and to celebrate God’s abiding presence in our lives.

On May 17, we celebrated the baptism of two precious sisters, Hazel Marie and Harlow Ellen Kana, during a private family service at Hoflanda Church—a special place chosen to honor cherished family memories.

Hazel and Harlow are the daughters of Bailey and Tim and little sisters to Henley, Hudson, and Haven.

Hazel's sponsors are Angela Kana-Veydorec and Abigail Kana, and Harlow's sponsor is her proud big sister, Henley Kana.

As a church family, we rejoice in God's promises and welcome Hazel and Harlow into the family of faith. May they always know the love of Jesus, remember the promises made for them this day, and grow in faith surrounded by God's grace and the love of family.

Senior Sunday 2026

On May 17th, we had the privilege of recognizing and celebrating our graduating seniors.

As they prepare to begin new adventures, we give thanks for the gifts they have shared with our church and community over the years. Whether heading to college, the workforce, or other opportunities, we pray that God will guide their paths and bless the journey ahead.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5-6

Confirmation Sunday was May 3, 2026

Earlier this month, we celebrated a very special milestone as these students affirmed their baptism and publicly confessed their faith in Jesus Christ.

Throughout their Confirmation years, they have spent countless Wednesday evenings learning, asking questions, building friendships, serving others, and growing in their understanding of God's love. Confirmation Sunday marked an important step in their faith journey, but it is only the beginning.

As a church family, we pray that they continue to trust in God's promises, seek His guidance, and know they are always surrounded by a community that loves and supports them.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." — Joshua 1:9
