Have you ever looked back at a conversation and realized you were so focused on being right that you stopped listening?

We often think of pride as something obvious, but it can show up in everyday moments. Maybe we hesitate to apologize, get defensive when someone gives us feedback, or have a hard time admitting we could have handled something differently.

Humility gives us room to grow. It helps us listen before reacting, take responsibility for our choices, and care more about the relationship than winning the argument. Jesus lived this out in the way He treated people, and His example gives us something practical to carry into our homes, workplaces, friendships, and everyday conversations. ❤️

Sometimes God answers a prayer in a way that blesses the whole family. ❤️

What started as a search for a church where his son could feel at home became a place where they both found love, encouragement, and room to grow in Christ.

Sunday Message: Waiting on God

Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of faith.

We pray. We believe. We trust God—and then we wait. But just because God hasn't answered yet doesn't mean He isn't working.

Sometimes the waiting season is where God is preparing us for what He has prepared for us.

Join us this Sunday for an encouraging message: “Waiting on God.”

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…” – Isaiah 40:31

Waiting doesn't mean God has forgotten you. It means He is still working.

Don't rush the process. Don't give up in the waiting. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep believing.

God's delay is not God's denial. His timing is always perfect.

What does worship look like for you?

Maybe it’s singing with your hands lifted, quietly thanking God for carrying you through the week, or just being present and listening. Worship gives each of us space to turn our attention toward God and recognize who He is in the middle of everything happening in our lives. ❤️

If you’re new to church, coming back after some time away, or looking for a place to worship, you’re welcome here at Freedom In Christ Ministry. You don’t have to know the songs or know what to do. Come as you are, and worship God with us this Sunday. 🙏🏾

Stop and think about what it actually means to serve a God who has already beaten the power of death.

Every fear you are carrying, every battle you are facing, every mountain that looks unmovable. They are all subject to a God who walked out of the grave and left nothing unconquered behind Him.

He is holy and He is mighty, awesome in His power, glorious in all His ways. The sun, the moon, and the stars are His handiwork, and no praise is high enough to fully express how great He is.

But here is what makes all of that even more personal: this mighty God, this Lord of Lords, this King of Kings.

He is fighting for you. You are not alone in your battle and you are not going to lose, because your God reigns victorious and He does not lose fights.

So lift your voice today and make the declaration heaven has been waiting to hear from you: You are mighty, Lord, and all glory, all honor, all praise belongs to You.

See you tomorrow at the LIFT women's ministry gathering from 10am to 12pm at Freedom In Christ Ministry!

Fall is arriving and with every new season comes an invitation to grow deeper in faith, community, and purpose. The morning will feature powerful worship, meaningful conversation among sisters, and intentional prayer over the specific things women are trusting God for in this season.

LIFT exists because every woman deserves a community where she is fully seen, consistently encouraged, and reminded of the incredible strength God has placed inside her.

So much happens between these gatherings and this is the space where women can bring all of it, the victories, the questions, and the burdens, and find sisters ready to stand with them.

Women thrive when they're rooted in authentic community that goes beyond surface conversation and creates real and lasting connection in Christ.

Whether you're a familiar face or stepping into LIFT for the very first time, there is a seat and a warm welcome waiting for you at 28202 Franklin Road. Invite someone who has been quietly longing for community that feels genuine, safe, and rooted in something greater than herself.

Have you ever watched someone get the opportunity you wanted and had a hard time being happy for them? Maybe they got the promotion, bought the house, reached a goal, or received the recognition you have been working toward.

Those moments can bring feelings to the surface that we do not always want to admit.

Instead of beating yourself up for feeling jealous, get curious about where it is coming from. Is it disappointment? Insecurity? The pressure to keep up? Someone else’s success does not make your progress any less valuable. You can celebrate what is happening for them while still working toward what matters to you. ❤️

Everybody who has ever been called to something significant has had to face discouragement at some point along the way and that includes you.

The question is not whether it will show up but what you are going to do when it does. The worst thing you can do when discouragement hits is stop.

Stop pursuing your calling, stop showing up for the people God placed in your life, or stop believing in what God put inside of you. That is when you truly lose.

One of the most helpful things you can do in a discouraging season is change how you are labeling what you are experiencing. That rejection, that failure, that outcome that did not go the way you planned is not the final word on your future.

It is information and information can be learned from, adjusted to, and moved past. When you stop treating results like permanent barriers and start treating them like data points in a bigger journey, discouragement loses a lot of its power over you because forward movement is always still possible.

But when it goes deeper than a mindset issue and starts feeling like it is pulling you under, you have to get into God and rely on the Holy Spirit because that is where the real answers and real strength live.

Do not give up on what God called you to because the fact that the enemy is fighting you this hard is actually proof that what you are carrying matters.
