What if your faith is like an unopened deck of cards—perfectly preserved but never used? In this powerful message, we're challenged to move beyond surface-level Christianity to genuine discipleship.

Jesus didn't call us to collect Bibles or memorize one favorite verse. He called us to follow Him—completely. "Anyone who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom" (Luke 9:62). That's not a suggestion; it's a warning we can't ignore.

The question isn't whether you said a prayer once. It's whether you're still following today. Are you reading God's Word to change your life, or just to check a box? Jesus said, "Even more blessed are those who hear the word of God and put it into practice" (Luke 11:28).

Stop playing it safe with your faith. Open the whole deck. Read the whole Bible. Follow Him all the way. Not my will, but Yours be done.

What does it really mean to be "rich toward God"? This Sunday, we wrestled with Jesus's challenging words from Luke 12 about greed, possessions, and what happens when our life is demanded of us.

Jesus warned: "Be on your guard against all kinds of greed. A man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions." The uncomfortable truth? We can be faithful tithers, good people, and still miss what God is calling us to do with everything He's given us. It's not about earning salvation—it's about living like we're truly saved.

The question isn't just "Who gets what you've prepared for yourself?" but "Are you making any heavenly investments?" God hasn't just saved us for heaven someday—He's calling us to share His abundance with others today. Not because we have to, but because we get to.

What is God asking you to release? What might He want you to share with someone who can't pay you back?

"Seek me and live." God's words through the prophet Amos still echo today. It's easy to think we're doing fine—going to church, living comfortably, checking the spiritual boxes. But God asks: Are we truly seeking Him, or just going through the motions?

Amos confronted a people who had everything but had forgotten the heart of God: justice for the oppressed, mercy for the broken, and grace that transforms. They enjoyed their luxuries while ignoring those in need. Sound familiar?

Here's the challenge: Being a Christian isn't just about being good or attending services. It's about actively seeking God daily and reflecting His heart to a hurting world. We're called to be agents of His justice, mercy, and grace—not just recipients of it.

The question isn't whether God will accept our worship, but whether our lives reflect the One we claim to worship. Are we seeking Him with everything we have? (Amos 5:4-15)

What lion do you choose to pet?

What lion do you choose to pet?
Where’s your wage, what’s your bet?
Why do you struggle with what you know is true?
Where’s your heart, what don’t you choose to do?
How do you struggle, whine, cry, and weep?
What do you hold onto, that you were never meant to keep?
Why do you not rally to the wall and fight?
How when you walk in darkness do you expect to show light?
Do you stand or do you embrace your sin?
Why do we wallow in what we know does stink?
How do you expect not to fall dancing on the brink?
Who are you, when you’re all alone and no one can see?
Are you playing with your chains or are you free?

🇺🇸 In Memory of Many, In Honor of All 🇺🇸

Today, we pause with grateful hearts to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Memorial Day is more than a holiday. It is a sacred reminder that freedom has never been free. It has been carried on the shoulders of the brave, protected through sacrifice, and preserved by those who were willing to lay down their lives for something greater than themselves.

Scripture reminds us:

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
— John 15:13

As we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we also remember the families who carry their absence, the loved ones who still feel the weight of their loss, and the generations who live in the freedom they helped secure.

May we never take their sacrifice lightly.
May we live with gratitude.
May we pray for peace.
And may we always remember.

In memory of many.
In honor of all.

Who do you say Jesus is? Not just Savior who forgives, but LORD who leads?

This Sunday's message challenged us to move beyond surface-level faith. Jesus asks in Matthew 16:15, "Who do YOU say that I am?" Peter answered correctly, but Jesus demands more than right answers—He calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him daily.

Are you trading eternal treasure for temporary comfort? God's wedding banquet is ready (Matthew 22), but we must come dressed in righteousness, not our own achievements. He's calling us from the lake, the career, the distractions—inviting us to something greater.

The invitation is clear: repent, surrender, and walk in obedience. Heaven is filled with "bad people" made righteous by Christ's blood. That table has a seat with your name on it. Will you RSVP?
